I was going to go down today but just got done shoveling my house at. Those winds were pretty intense last night, just hoping my shrink wrap held up.

By the time I was done shoveling and snow blowing... I couldnt do it ....

Not like i could do anything anyway right ?

Just hope no one fell over like last year ...

I checked mine............................ooops never mind !

Yes, Via the Web- still has power and seems to be just as i left it

I just finished clearing snow about 30 minutes ago, I've been outside with the snow thrower running since about 9:30 this morning with just a quick lunch break. With all the snow we had last winter this was a lot harder to clear with all the drifts... It was 3-4' deep across the front of my driveway. Took care of a couple of the neighbors too.

They were very slow to plow the side streets around here today and I saw some cars getting stuck at intersections. Probably wasn't worth driving down to check on the boat. Wind was really blowing last night, although I don't think it was as bad as the March storm, everyone still seems to have their roofs intact :)

Can't you call your marina for a status? That is what I used to do.

Long Island doesn't have phones yet.

It was on my list of things to do, but by the time I got done snowblowing and shoveling, it got pushed to the back burner.
I figured that if there is a problem with the shrinkwrap, there isn't much I could do about it today anyway. I'll probably take a quick ride down there in the morning.

Didn't check my boat but I do LOVE my new snowblower!
Wow, went thru this like a hot knife in butter!

Cleaned the snow and went to work for a few hours. Roads are a crap shoot.

Boat is stored inside:)

Mine is inside now too for the first time, even has heat in the building. Putting a hardtop on the boat and it's about a 4.5 hour drive away being worked on so I won't be checking on it for a while. Not the usual 5 minute drive to the AYC where I end up checking on it all the time. I was up there a couple weeks ago to check on progress though.

Looked out the window at the boat,,,all seemed fine. Even though the transom faces north & the wind was from the north, the cockpit has virtually no snow in it. 100watt light bulb in the cabin & a 1500watt ceramic hearter in the engine compartment & I am goodto go. If we didnt spend all day eating on Christmas day I might have gone for a ride.

Andy, funny thing is the north side of my house has almost no snow on the ground and the south side has drifts almost to the top of a 4' fence. Even the windows on the south side were coated with snow last night, it must have wrapped around the house the way the wind was going.
