It's been awfully quiet in this forum - any one alive out there? I'm planning to crawl inside the shrink wrap and start banging around inside the cabin, maybe bring a couple of systems on line soon. If these Monday morning snow storms start to let up, maybe all the wrap could be off by the and of the month. How about you Connecticut River crazies? Anyone else?

Actually closed on a new boat yesterday, will try to set the launch date this week for early April...hopefully no later than the 15th. Ct River can have a ton of debris at that time but depends on the scope of snow melt, rain fall, and of course, early season flooding. Either way, we'll be in and ready to go as early as we can.

Can't spash until 1-May based on insurance and typical ice-out dates on the lakes. But i was working in the yard today and was plesantly surprised at one point. Raked some leaves away from few spots that are snow free, and found green stuff growing already!

It's coming!

I've started some of the spring work, but won't uncover until we get back from Florida in mid APril. I'm overhauling the sanitation system this year.

Ductboy,
sorry for the delay, did not see the response. We traded in our 2006 Fourwinns V318 for a late season leftover 2008 Fourwinns V358...very similar boats but four feet more on the length almost two feet on the beam. We're going in on either April 9th or 10th depending on the weather...let the season begin.

Good for you JoeBalt. 2 foot itis is nice. You will enjoy the added beam, and length. We're dropping in April 4. We were the last one out in November, so first one in this year. Something new for us. Normally we drop in by the end of June. Wow, thats another 8 weekends this year................
