Attaching used fire hose to dock in saltwater environment?

I have a source for some used 2 1/2" fire hose. Looking for suggestions on attaching it to the dock...

Only 2.5 inch? Maybe shove a pool noodle in it and screw the edges in on the top and along the side.

Flat won’t do anything unless you can put something inside. I think making ribs / waves is how people use fire hose.

I just replaced 2 fire hoses on the 116… I forgot about using them for docks. I three away one but I m going to save the other, 50’ 2 or 2 1/2 “
