Stayed on the boat Thursday night. Spectrum played at the Water Club, and were great, as usual.

Went up to Cold Spring for lunch on Friday, delicious meal at the Hudson River House. Walked through town and had a great ride back. Went to Lynch's for light meal and lots of laughs with good friends.

Saturday, went to Bowline and Croton on Giggity, so that our dog could swim. Rafted up with our old boat, then with other friends and spent quite a bit of time in the water. Had dinner at the HWC with our oldest son, who came to visit. Kick Start Charlie played, they were outstanding, rain cut them short.

Sunday, we went to River Outpost with both sons and Tim's fiancГ© for a great lunch, and to listen to the band there.

Went back out on Monday to Bowline and Croton, both of us - and our dog - swam. Headed back when storms started to form.

We will be back tomorrow, and out on the river Thursday morning to watch the US & British jets fly down the river, and back up.

Glad to hear you had a great weekend!
We have always loved Cold Spring. We resently took our boat to Northport and it reminded us of Cold Spring I'm sure we will head back there soon.
Labor day we are heading to one of your favorite ports Pilots point, we figured we would use our two free nights there.
It has been a great year don't miss the River but do miss some of our friends!

We are heading out on the river tomorrow morning to watch the Blue Angels and the Red Arrows fly down to the Statue of Liberty and back to Newburgh

Any suggestions for restaurants etc. for Pilots Point? Spent Saturday at our mooring ball in Lloyd’s.

The one at the marina (Boom) used to be excellent, heard it is something different now.

There is a decent place right across the street.
Short walk.
Can't remember the name.
Walk out, hang a left, just over the bridge on right.
