1; What is the best waterproofing product for a canvas pontoon boat mooring cover?
2; Where is the best place to buy it?
3; What is the best way to install it?

The sailrite site I linked to has good info on caring for canvas, assuming the cover you have is sunbrella, which is what 99% of the boat covers I’ve seen are made of. Here is a video, but there are written descriptions as well https://www.sailrite.com/Retreating-Sunbrella-Which-Side-is-the-Outside

Briefly, before you coat it with the 303, it needs to be clean. Best is if you have a washing machine it fits in - wash it with Woolite, and bleach, a lot of bleach. The. When it’s dry, and going to remain dry for a couple days, you coat it with the 303.

You can safely clean canvas cover in the large commercial washing machines at a laundromat.

303 Fabric Guard - not the normal 303 that you use on plastics!

Just use Star Brite Waterproof. You will get only a year out of each product...why pay more for 303

I've used 303 and get 3-4 years coverage. It's worth the extra cost

Note for the new guy: DON’T put sunbrella canvas in the dryer! EVER! It WILL shrink. Let it air dry.

I’ve had good results with Star Brite too and Amazon has a good price on it.

I have not noticed a difference between 303 and Starbrite, except Starbrite being significantly less expensive. They might be the same chemical. Buy the gallon size Starbrite, and pour it into a clean 2-gal pump sprayer ... the kind used for applying weed control, etc. It will make the job go much faster. If you can, remove the cover from the boat, and spread it out on your lawn or driveway. This will keep overspray off your boat.
