I have used Collinite for years and have been happy with it.

This year, however, I noticed after the first outing of about 50 miles, the hull didn't "bead up" when I washed it below the water line. I can't honestly say if this condition existed previously or not.

It's a trailer boat with no bottom paint. Above the water line it beaded up nicely. So, is there a product out there that will allow the hull under the water line to remain protected even after she has been used ? I want the hull to bead up both above and below the water line.

Suggest that you take a look at www.auroramarine.com. They have a product called VS 721 bottom wax.

Has anyone tried this product? The website info looks good, but of course it would.

I tried it this year just above antifouling paint on hull sides and on lower transom and it seemed to make it a little easier to clean but I didn't notice any significant decrease on growth. Unfortunately I can only put on when I haul out so can't speak to success with periodic reapplication.
