Here's an odd one for you. I've recently purchased a tach for a boat which never had one (is a small bass boat). The boat currently has only a gas gauge, but there is a panel with room to mount the tach on either side of the steering wheel. What is the best way to cut this in? Do I go with the old drill a hole and use a jig saw and wing it or is there a better method? Do I need to worry about sealing the inside of the wood? It's white fiberglass on top, but I believe there's plywood behind. Thanks,
