I am a newbie and have a Bombard inflatable with a 5 hp o/b. and a 32' Beneteau power boat. Towing the dinghy seems to be the best solution for me. I have seen several posts on this subject. . . One interesting method was to tie the dinghy up to the swim platform and tow in the water behind the boat. The other method, which may be the standard, is to tow behind on the forward slope of of the wake wave.
What is the best way to tow. . . and should the dinghy be towed with the motor installed?
