BI Sound Swell Report?

I posted a question in the LICC forumn regarding how the swell from Bertha is in BI sound. Hoping to go to Block on Friday but a little worried about the conditions...

any reports or comments...

Just returned from Block (via Ferry). On 7/15, the swells were maybe 3 - 5 feet but they were gentle rollers and far apart. On 7/16, the swells were reduced to a couple of feet. Besides the swells, the water was very calm, either no or minimal chop. Beautiful weather for boating.

Came home Thursday morning from a few days at Montauk. Very smooth ride - even through Plum Gut. The waves on the south facing beaches were very big due to the storm. Admiral getting crushed!
