Has anyone installed a bilge pump in the salon area to take care of A/C condensate. If so where did you run the discharge hose?
Thanks George

My Salon has a bilge pump.
AC Condensate runs into the bilge.

Quite a few boats have sump pumps.
Where does your shower water drain to?

I have the standard shower drain pump out. What I am looking for is any path some one with
a 3780-3880 has taken for a pump discharge hose.

AC condensate shouldn’t go in the bilge... it should go to a sump and dumped overboard.

You can either install a sump pump or bilge pump in that area.you have easy access to install a thru hull.
As mentioned in another thread, I installed a condensator tee from Mermaid.

Can you run a hose from the AC pan to the shower sump? Shower sump boxes usually have a fitting on top for that purpose. AC makes a considerable amount of water on hot, humid days. I wouldn't want that draining to the bilge.

Add a sump pump in a drain box. Guaranteed to stink in n the bilge

factory setup on mine had the condensate going into the shower sump, then pumped overboard.

There is an overflow into the bilge in the event the pump fails

PO was lazy and plumbed the AC into the bilge

I restored the factory setup

When I put the boat up after use, simply pop up the teak shower grate and wipe out the remaining water with a sponge, right into the sink or head.
