Black Water Tank Treatment/Deodorizor

The guy handling our refurb recommended Happy Kamper and it's completely eliminated odors. Didn't realize the importance of keeping a little water in the bowl as an additional "seal," too. (Happy Crapper is what the dock hands call it.)

I have used both KO & Odorlos over the years and found both work well- Presently using Odorlos while living on the boat and not a hint of smell-

Peggie Hall! I really need to reach out and try to get her back on here...

+1 for Odorlos, more is not better. Do some reading on how a holding tanks works as well. You actually want poo in there to do it's job :)

I bought that book years ago and it really does explain everything about a boat's sanitation system. Every boater should have this book.

I've got a carbon filter on my vent line - expensive to replace, but lasts years.
Get rid of that filter (bypass it) and your odor problems will go away. The filter actually restricts air flow and keeps the sewage smelly.
