Should I or Shouldn't I.
I have a 1981 34c Silverton, with 25 years of bottom paint and the bottom looks it. The bottom paint has always been the NON ablative type. I have done my research but am more confused now then before. Should I use stripper, sanders, or blasting as discussed at the site below http://www.socleanblasting.com/marine.html
I'm worried about gelcoat erosion. Do I need to barrier coat after? I hate working with epoxy based paints how hard is it to do?. I'm not at a full service yard otherwise I would not worry as much and let them fix the mistakes. Guys help me make up my mind before I have 10 more coats of bottom paint on her.
