I have a small 17' fiberglass bowrider I/O boat which tore it's moorings and sunk in an overnight storm. It is beyond repair. I managed to get it onto it's trailer, but now must dispose of it. I checked with the local landfill, who said I can dispose of it there, but it must be cut up into small sections.
I plan to drain the fuel and oil, and remove the battery, but am seeking advice on the best tools and methods to saw cut fiberglass. Can anyone help me determine the best power tools, blades, etc?
It's a sad project, but I want to do it safely and as efficiently as possible.
Thanks in advance for anyone who can provide a little direction...
