Just read in the projo that the dealership Boat World RI in Warwick has laid off all of it's employees. Didn't say they were going out of business but it's tough to operate with no employees. Anyone hear about this. Seems to me from the web they have a pretty big inventory of boats. I wonder what might happen.

My mom lives a couple of miles away from them. I THINK a lot of the used boats were storage and consignment / brokerage.

It doesn't surprise me though. Look at the unemployment figures also in today's projo. 10.5%.

What are they, second only to Michigan? Probably some great deals to be had.

I went past there last weekend and there were hardly any boats in the lot. My friends have a boat there that is being brokered. I will see if they have any info

Looking at their web site it apopears it may be true. "Selling boats below dealer cost", "Liquidation Sale" , "Bank Ordered pricing"

Check out this price

37' Formula 37 PC 2004 121,981 P U T G FG Warwick, RI

I have spoke to them over a number of years, real straight up people, and always followed up. I am sad that the good guys are going under.

There was an absolutely gorgeous express there last time I was up. A Rinker or Four Winns. I only wish...

As a matter of fact, all the boats there were nice. I was really quite impressed.

You are correct. It was the best boat shopping experience I have ever had. I would have bought there in an instant had they had what I wanted.

That Formula is now sale pending since I last posted. I agree, I stopped in regularly as it is on my way to the boat. Nice guys, when I was looking for the bigger boat I really liked a 36 Formula they had on trade, sold before I was ready to buy though.

If you know anyone looking for a 42 or 46 Cruisers express, the prices are extremely low compared to others on Yacht World.

I went to the website too. I agree on some of those prices like the cruisers expresses. VERY low. If only I had the doe... To bad to see the local Cruisers, Silverton, Marquee dealership go under. I'm sure more to follow.

I agree. I wonder how well Bassett is doing? Lots of inventory.

I wish I had the dough as well. I woud love that 46' Cruisers.
