Has anyone placed their boat onto the Boatsetter P2P boat share website? Just wondering what your experiance was positive and negative. I have a center console that if rented out a couple of times per month would offset some of my operating costs.
 
I imagine that it is not simple from an insurance and liability standpoint.
 
Hey Bruce, I believe a P2P insurance policy by Gieco is provided during the rental period which is part of the fee paid by the renter. Also, towboat US coverage is also provided. So I don't know if that would affect my own policy. But that would be a big issue if it did. I
 
HI Adam: Indeed it would. My fear is some guy rents my boat drinks and causes an injury, or worse.

Maybe the boat could be titled in a corporation or something. Maybe a lawyer here will chime in.
