Bow cushions covers

My carver bow cushions are showing their age (14 years). I would like to get new covers made. I am always shocked at what our local canvas and vinyl shops charge and thus would like to explore some options.
First, does anyone have a suggestion on a quality shop anywhere in the US that they could recommend? The covers are easy enough to ship without the foam in them.
Second, any suggestions on materials? They are currently a soft vinyl but not waterproof. I need to take them off after each day if rain is in the forecast.

I'm too far away to recommend anyone, but I would get away from vinyl and use Sunbrella.
 
Go to one of your local auto upholstery shops. That's what I did some years ago and I thought the prices were reasonable.
 
Agree on vinyl to Sunbrella. If you can get the material and have the old ones, any seamstress can make for you.
 
I used a spray paint for vinyl cushions once. Looked and felt as good as new. Lasted quite a few years too.
 
Agree w/ Dr. Greg. After that I would go with a Sunbrella "slip covers" over the existing vinyl. A Sea Ray owner in Italy did this and they look great. Add to that, after a weekend of suntan oil, he just takes them off and throws them in the washer, hits them w/ 303 and is ready for the next weekend.
 
+2 for paint, assuming the vinyl itself is in reasonable shape. painted my bow cushions for the past few seasons - the paint doesn't seem to last, so had to do it each year. been getting the paint (an exact color match) from WM - expensive. This season bought white flexible vinyl paint from Home Depot - $4.99/can! Worked as well, if not better.
 
Good idea to remove and rebed all the snaps as well. You don't wan them leaking into the core.
