Hi all,

I've been asked to help a friend briing his boat from Annecortes down the California Delta during the second or third week of June. It's a 47 Bayliner and he carries about 440 gallons and will burn about 1 gallon per mile.

I'm sure that some in this group have probably done this trip in one direction or the other. We are hoping to travel primarily during the day and to pull into ports to overnight. We were thinking about the following ports of call, weather and tides permitting.

-Neah Bay
-Gray's Harbor
-Coos Bay
-Eureka
-Bodega Bay
-San Francisco Bay

Does anyone have any suggestions for better choices? I beilieve that fog will be a bit of a problem during this time period so I'm thinking we should run offshore a ways to stay clear of the fog as much as possible. How far do you think we'll have to run outside? Are there any good fishing opportunities at this time of year? I'm thinking that there may be some albacore offshore, but I'm not fmailiar with their patterns up there.

Any other suggestions or advice will be welcome. I'm really looking forward to the trip. I brought our boat up from Ensenada so once we've completed this trip I can say I have travelled virtually the entire west coast of the US.
