So I was talking before about me moving the trim tab skeg above the prop on my Mercruiser alpha1, well. after being told not to I attempted on moving it back and brok part of it off! I did drive the boat when it was moved straight (rather than the former to the left arrangment) and I didnt notice anything different. So is the thing even needed, Ive seen drives like mine with out them. How do I take it off replace, whatever.
