Anyone had expereience with a Canadian fly-in fishing lodge? Several of my fishing friends would like to spend a week at a fishing lodge!

What kind of fish do you want to catch...Pike, Waleye,Trout????

We really enjoy walleye and perch fishing but, have no objection to most any species.

I could give you the information on a great place in Northern Quebec ....tons of walley when I was there..or if you like Muskie fishing I could line you up with a guy that can show you how to and where to catch them. This is not a fly in trip. You may not catch tons of fish, but to me the trip is the fun and if you catch fish it's a bonus. He has access to a couple of cabins on a small lake so you would be doing your own cooking and stuff. From your place it would be drive time Total Est. Time: 6 hours, 18 minutes Total Est. Distance: 354.54 miles.

Great spot for Waleye here....http://www.ogascanan.com/

It's a great and grand experiece.
Plan it, set the dates, get your vacation time in order and go. You'll not regret it.
All mine was in Alaska.

The other option is a 'Drop off' trip. But staying at a lodge is not quite so primitive and Dangerous.

We are going here again this Summer. www.boltonlake.com/

Good fishing for Walleye, Pike, and Lakers. It has been a catch and release (exept shore lunch) for years. The fishing is always good. I have released many "trophy" Pike there over the last 15 years.

The people are nice and run a good lodge. Tell Trevor (owner) that Pat Magrady sent you.
