Change ignition on Crusader 350

Thoughts on replacing points, condencer, etc to electrical ignition system on 1986 Crusaders Model 350 ? The engines are low hours (400) and great shape. Thought it would help fuel economy...

Definitely a good idea. Check out the Pertronix Ignitor system, easy to install and works great.

Replace the the whole thing, the advances get rusted, drop new distributers (sp) in, new 12 volt coils too.

I changed my 1986 Crusaders two seasons ago and love it! Better economy and much improve idle. Replace everything as Jim said.
