I have one of those weird electrical gremlins that I think I've traced to battery switch and charger (Professional Mariner 20/35 about 15 years old).
My batteries (3 X 31 house bank and 27 starting bat) get drained down to less than 11.5 volts in less than 5 hours with only the fridge running! Last year I could go well over 24 hours no problem. All batteries are less than a year old. When I hooked meter between leads from charger to batteries it showed a draw. Am I correct that the charger is now bad? (it charges fine). Does this indicate it is likely to give up the ghost entirely? If not, I might just install a switch to be able to disconnect it from the batteries . . .any input appreciated!
