Christmas Boat Parade?

I think Stockton and Old Sacramento are having parades tomorrow night, Dec 6th.

On Dec 13th, SJYC sponsors an Open House and Parade around Bethel Island followed by dinner at the club. It is open to the public. Anyone can have their boat in the parade, too!
 
Sausalito YC's is December 13. There are spots available on the committee boat, a 164 foot Codecasa, at $500 per person. I'm not sure if you have to be a member or not. (This is a fundraiser for the fireworks.) And, no, I'm not a member there--this is from their posters and their website.

San Rafael's, sponsored by Marin YC, San Rafael YC, and Loch Lomond YC (three more clubs I don't belong to) is December 20.

My friend won first place in the parade last Saturday. We were aboard for the cruise and just had a blast! There's a picture of his boat featured on the Driftwood marina web site (scroll down on the main page) - www.driftwoodmarina.com

Tell Terry the ole girl looks pretty good all dressed up for Christmas. I hope we do half as well in the Discovery Bay Parade this weekend. It's been a few years, but we won first place twice in the Oakland Estuary parade.
 
I'll be sure to tell him Dave! You should stop by some weekend for a drink or 2 (or 3).

Flutterby - I took them from shore with some zoom standing in front of the waterfront warehouse.
