Ahoy mates,

In a previous thread I asked for opinions on Dredge Harbor marina and Riverside marina, both in Riverside (actually Delran) NJ, and received some good feedback.

I'd now like to know if anyone has any experience with Clarks Landing marina. There's one near me in Delran. I know they're a chain. Does that make them better or worse than the family-owned marinas.

How does Clarks Landing in Delran compare to Riverside and Dredge Harbor?

If I moor at Clarks Landing in Delran for the season, would I enjoy any benefits or discounts at any of the other Clarks Landing marinas?

TIA

Hi TIA,

I was there for one season and I did not like it at all. You can not compare them the either of the other marinas.

First, I have dealt with all 3 marinas and I am currently at Riverside because Dredge did not have room for me when I moved.

The people that work at Clarks are rude! The only one I would talk to is the mechanic. They never have any time for you and would yes you to death and nver get anything done.

Second there is no boat supply shop soo if you need anything you need to go to dredge or riverside.

That is just my experience with them over the one season. I use to be at the shore so to be treated like that I moved after that season.

Actually, Ken, TIA is an acronym for "thanks in advance", but thanks for the info. I guess I'm trying to figure out why Clarks Landing's seasonal slip rates are, on average, $300 less than Dredge Harbor and Riverside. Your comments kind of answer that question.

Anyone else here have any dealings with Clarks Landing in Delran? It sure would be nice to save 300 bucks on the seasonal slip fees. They also include the electrical and water at no additional charge, whereas Dredge Harbor and Riverside charge extra. It seems like a great deal, but I'd pass it up if the marina management truly sucks.

We bought our 2655 from Clark's and have kept it there for 6 years. They have been able to take care of my basic service needs. We don't use the pool. When I need a specific Bayliner part, I go over to Dredge but their ship store isn't always open when I need something.

The docks are relatively new.

I have had my boat at Dredge for the past two years..I would recommend them. Full service marina, pool, clean bathrooms, etc. For $300 it isn't worth switching.

I purchased my boat from Clarks and had a great experience with them!! They were very helpful and had amazing customer service! I have no doubt that I will be buying my next boat from them too!

This is wayyy late, but if you want a friendly yard you couldnt do better than CLarks Landing. The manager is a nice guy who cant do enough for you as well as the rest of the staff. And they have a great little luncheonette on the property. Dredge is by far the nicer marina to look at. They arent near as nice as these guys are to deal with though.
