I just finished cleaning my top canvas, currently letting it dry. Question is: when applying the 303 protectant, do I spray both sides witht he protectant, or just the outside (top) of the canvas?

I waterproof both top and bottom. Be careful not to get it on your vinyl windows. If you do, wipe it off with 303 (for vinyl) or a clean, damp rag.

Thanks. I was of the thinking of needing to do both sides.

It doesn't take much. You'll see the coverage when you start spraying.

FWIW, I've been putting 303 vinyl protectant on my clear panels for the past 7 years. They're up 365 and are still as clear as the first day. The trick is applying every 30 days (it takes me about 20 minutes).

Very Interesting, Will have to give that a try...

Kurt...One more question. What do you use to clean your 'glass' before upi apply 303?

Gentle liquid detergent and a very soft rag on both sides. Rinse well and dry with another soft towel/rag. The put protectant on each side.

I avoid detergents. I keep my "glass" well rinsed to remove anything that can scratch. 303 does a good job of cleaning off anything else. We'll probably be over to Castle Harbor sometime in the near future. If you want, you can stop by and see my results after 7 years (going into the 8th season with this "glass").

It depends what kind of "glass" you have on your 444 Carver. If its strataglass, putting 303 on it will ruin it.

Good point. I have "straight" vinyl, thus the poors are "open" and something needs to be applied to it to protect it from UV. Other products will vary.

hey what 303 are yall using? The 303 Aerospace Cleaner,303 Aerospace Protectant, 303 Vinyl & Fabric Convertible Top Cleaners or the 303 Fabric Guard?

I have 30 mil glass, is that what yall are calling regular vinyl? I call it isonglass. It was cheap so I dont think it is the strataglass.

Thanks
