Conformal Coating for Custom Marine Electronics

Is there a substance that will work for protecting custom electronics boards in a boat?

I figure to use a few custom circuit boards, and while I'll tin/lead plate the copper - a conformal coating would go a lot farther to prevent corrosion problems with the wiring and components.
