I own a 1985 3227 with lower helm. I'm having trouble with the uper helm port transmission shifter. It is very stiff and will engage forward gear only, the lower station shifts fine. This cable was replaced about three year ago for the same reason. I'm looking for a permenant solution as waiting on the marina mechanic to get to it will likely cost me the July 4th holiday in addition to memorial day.
