Hi all. We finally sold our 35 foot cruiser after 20 years since new. Now downsizing to a "little boat" a 2016 Crownline E6 XS. A 26 foot deck boat, similar to a Hurricane. Only 150 hours and well equipped. Trouble is that the little cockpit refrigerator and the electric toilet have no 12v power. Previous owner claims that the toilet was never used and the frige only used occasionally. My long term electrical wizard has passed away and I wanted to check with boatered pals for anyone who may have had similar difficulties. All fuses in on the board behind the console check out okay, and I suspect a not yet discovered breaker to be the cause. Of course, any and all suggestions are appreciated. Thanks, Griff

If you don't already have one, a quick search on their website has owners manual which includes 'a' wiring diagram. Looks like both those items are dealer add-ons but hopefully it gives enough detail for all the breakers, etc.
Good luck and congrats on the new boat.

Could be inline fuses as well. Things not used tend to freeze up or collect debris that chokes them. A sharp pointy voltmeter probe and someone to push the buttons while probing can shed some light.

Inline fuses should never be used but…. Same with fuses on panels, breakers please!!!!

That said you re going to trace the wiring from the head and fridge to the source. Not fun. And check for voltage along the way. That’s the only way to troubleshoot anything dealer or previous owner installed

Thanks for the help. Have good test tools, waiting for a cooler day, 'cause daytime in FL is sure hot in the boat. The elec toilet is factory, not sure about the Isotherm. Crawling inside behind the helm is easier for a skinny kid. Will keep you guys up to date. Griff

I picked up one of these a while back, to help trace some faulty wiring on a car I’m battling. I can’t wait to take it over to the boat, and start tracing wires for non working lights, speakers, etc. You basically clamp it onto the wire at a known end, and then it beeps when near the wire anywhere along the run. If it doesn’t beep at the breaker, you know the wire is cut, and using the tone you can somewhat easily find where. You can find cheap versions, for around twenty bucks. but the reviews seem to indicate they are useless.

Hi all. I really need factory electrical schematics for a 2016 Crownline E6 XS. The Crownline company has referred me to the dealer network and has not been helpful. Any suggestions are appreciated. Griff

If the manufacturer can’t get you the wiring diagrams, and the dealer can’t - it’s a safe bet that you won’t ever be getting it for this boat.

You are at the point where boats start to get hacked up with new wires that you run yourself from the panel to the appliance. Not as clean a solution as finding the problem with the original circuit. But you would not be the first person to head down this path.
