has anyone ever done any work to a cruisair a/c. i have a self contained unit, 16,000btu.this past weekend i returned to the boat to find the a/c breaker had popped and the cabin smelled slightly like burning wire.the next day i restarted the system and the water was pumping, the compressor kicked on as did the fan. a minute or so later the fan shut down, then i shut the whole system down.when i reached into the cabinet the fan motor was real hot.im gonna assume the fan motor is shot.i do have the digital controls and did not get any error messages.to do any work on the system i have to disconnect everything and pull the whole unit out.id like to fix this in one shot. is there anything else i should be looking at besides the fan motor.
