Last Thursday (8/13) we left on the 4:30 bridge for run to Erie Pa. (43nm). We were joined by another couple and it was their first extended stay on a boat. They loved it and all went well.
Entering the harbor of Erie Pa and Presque Isle.
We decided to anchor overnight Thursday night. Lake Erie doesn't offer very many anchorages so this was our first time on the hook over night. We enjoyed it.
The anchorage…
A couple of converted Tugs from and made in Port Dover On
The Interlude on the hook…
Friday we went straight across the bay to Commodore Perry Yacht Club
Saturday we went for local cruise and got pictures of our local tall ship the US Brig Niagara on one of it's day sails.
One of the many beaches on Presque Isle
The admiral making fun of me because I cross my arms all the time…we were at the 3 Dog Night concert in downtown Erie. Those guys are getting old!!
