I have some cushions on my boat that are exposed at time to rain. The foam is absorbing a lot of water and takes forever to dry out. Is there foam that is somewhat water proof?
Thanks

The very best foam for use on a boat is closed cell foam. It costs more, but it will last you much much longer then anything else. But all foams will absorb moisture, so try to keep them dry all year.

There is a product called dri-fast foam that will not hold any water, and dries almost immediately. You must make an exit in the bottom of the seat for the water to run out. Google dri-fast foam and you will find sources for this product. Formula boats uses this product. Not cheap.

go to rochfordsupply.com, click the "Boating" link on the left, then click the "Marine Foam" link. Product is called "Drain Dry" foam.
