Sadly I've to tel you that Dean is coming to town.
We are waiting for dean tonight or tomorrow morning.
We hope that it doesn't recover its strenght.
I'll let you know after it how was it.
Bye

Yes, looks like it is headed to Veracruz. Hopefully it will not strengthen too much.
If I remember correctly, you keep your Regal in a marina rack storage. Is that correct?
Good luck with the storm, and give us a report back.

Good luck and be safe! Report in after it passes.

Sandy

Hi Ken:
Yes I keep it in a dry marina but not on a rack but on its own trailer.
I went this morning there to ask them to put on the cockpit cover with everything below it.
Thank you

You best call them back and either remove the cover or strap it down very well! The high winds will shred or rip a cover.

The last time I prepped my boat for a hurricane, I used Duck tape's "200 mph brand" ,taping the entire perimeter of the cockpit cover and all foredeck hatches. I also was able to observe the boat during 80 mph winds and felt we were nearing the limit of what the cover would hold. My guess was that at about 90mph the cover would go.

Sorry to hear that, because I can't do anything now.
I hope nothing wrong happen.
This is something I have no experience at all, because this is the first time in 40 years that we'll have a hurricane.
Thank you

Thank you all.
Now as I can see at the National Hurricane Center web page it will hit my state at the north( a little bit far away than it was this afternoon) and my town (Veracruz city) is at the center of the coast of the state (Veracruz), about 150 miles south.
It will be a very long night.
Thank you all

Bolado,

I hope all is well with you. After katrina I can only pray for you and yours.

Hi:
I'm sorry if I answer until now.
But I just came back from the Hospital. Everything was OK in my town with Dean, it came ashore 150 miles north. The waves ripped away the door of my house to the beach. The day after I went in emergency to the Hospital for an appendicitis surgic.
I haven't gone to the marina but I think everything is OK there.
Thank you all.

Godspeed on your recovery. Hope the boat is OK.

I am pleased to hear that you were blessed not to receive a direct hit.

I wish you a speedy recovery.
