a friend of mine has a 55 Ocean w/detroits, in Milford Ct. Has one motor down and isn`t having any luck with getting someone to get him going., Anyone have a recommendation?
 
he should join Boatdiesel, there are a lot of guys with a lot of diesel knowledge there.
 
I bought a 1977 Chris Craft in Westerly RI a couple of years ago. The mechanic my father and others used on Long Island did not want to make the trip. He gave me the name of Jim Mango from Precision Diesel in Branford CT. 203 488-6044. My motors are Detroit's and he only did an engine survey, but he seemed very knowledgeable and everyone on the boat that day was impressed.
