On my Mercruiser I have a distributor cap that I can't get off due to rusted screws (salt water). The screws thread into the base so I need to be careful otherwise I have to pull engine to get the distributor shaft out. The only thing I can think to do is cut the cap with a dremel tool and take it off in pieces. It's in a place naturally where there is no overhead clearance to drill and tap. I'm looking locally for a Quicksilver # 805759A5 replacement cap but I don't have a price yet. Can I cross this to a Sierra part number somehow?
