I had my shift/throttle controls replaced under a recall by a certified Mercruiser dealer. They installed the Commander 4500, which has the trim control in the handle. The strange thing is that the control console has the twin trim buttons for the drives, but the handle has only 1 button to control both drives. Is this the new way, or did Merc screw up? It doesn't seem right to me.
