I keep my boat at Newport where they do not offer Land Storage or Service so I've taken my boats up the river to Stony Point for the last 10 years for storage, winterization, shrink wrap, bottom painting, etc. I've always been satisfied with the service and the prices are considerably lower than Jersey City. I see that the prices at Englwood Boat Basin and Monte's are comparable. Some prices are higher and some are lower, but in total, around the same. The travel time and gas savings are significant. SPBM allows you to do your own work on the boat. Englewood does not even allow you to wax. I'll admit that I stopped doing my own waxing last year anyway but I still like the option of doing my own work if I want to. I understand not allowing outside contractors but they should allow you to at least wax your own boat if you wanted to.
Anyway, does anyone have experience with their service? Any issues? Would you recommend them?
