I have a few 1-2" gouges on the bottom of my boat from a rough edge on the dry stack rack. The marina is taking a little longer that I want to repair it (16 days so far). I don't want to splash before it is repaired. The marina says the marks aren't deep enough, but they look deep to me and I don't want to take the chance of getting water beyond the gelcoat.
What does it take to repair something like this, how much should it cost if I have someone repair it on my own? Are there any good fiberglass repair people in southern NJ that would come out to fix it?
Thanks,
Bob
