Fish Him Out First, Then Kill Him

I have spent a lot of time on Lake Keowee - even today the northern reaches are isolated areas especially in the wintertime. Aside from the homes on the lake, this is the country. Also, there are currents in the lake like you would not normally see in a freshwater lake - they pump water back into Lake Jocasse and the levels in Keowee can fluctuation several feet each day. The whole place is very interesting the way Keowee, Jocasse and Bad Creek were built. Who knows what was going on with those two on the jetski - maybe some weed or worse and they just weren't thinking straight. I wasn't there, but I would hope rather than get a gun involved, I would kicked their arses back to the broken jet ski and left them when they got testy with me trying to help them.

There has got to be more to this story...he was in fear for their lives?

Was the guy armed? How erratically must he have been acting to warrant getting shot? What an odd story...

Agree - very odd, there has to be more to it. Like I said, your in a rural area of South Carolina, off season, very likely they DID know each other, probably some kind of dealings gone bad.

Here is the full story. Let me tell you, these guys get hopped up on PCP laced marijuana etc and there is no dealing with them other than to kill them. I had a police officer friend, now 100% disabled from the fracas who put six rounds of 357 mag through a druggies chest, and it was not until he bled out that the fight stopped.

Saves us the cost of a trial and incarceration.

True enough but my fried was in the hospital for months, has had countless surgeries to recontru t his face and has brain damage. This stuff like PCP makes these guys think they are The Hulk. There are some who even break their bones on their restraints

Rural South Carolina, not surprised at all. Let’s get all f*%#d up and go out on the lake - what could go wrong.

I cannot believe the garbage that passes for journalism these days...

"John Dotson said he fired a warning shot and repeatedly pistol whipped Morgan, who had grabbed hold of his arm. But the crazed man wouldn't back down, and Dotson finally blasted him in the chest."

A 454 Casull is on my firearm bucket list...if budget were no object it would definitely be one from Freedom Arms...
very nice but I would go with a Super Redhawk 7 1/2” double action or a Super Blackhawk single action (probably my first choice) although the Freedom Arms is very very nice! I’m Ruger biased.

I'll bet that little puppy's got some snap to it! Almost 2# heavier than my LCR, but it's still gonna give your wrist a workout.
It’s designed for bear protection while fishing in Alaska. With a griz coming hard at you I doubt you would notice any snap!😁 Don’t forget you can shot .45 Colt in a .454

All pop guns. Get a Desert Eagle in 50 AE. Nobody recovers from a 1/2 inch hole. Added to that low recoil compared to he revolvers as it is heavy and gas operated. My DE is one of the softest recoils of all my pistols. Hard to conceal carry though, heck it is hard to open carry. It will pull your pants down to your ankles
