Inside a boat I bought a few years ago was a set of charts, badly damaged, called "Carmack Bay Charts for Sportfishing for Great South Bay." They aere actual charts of the South Shore on water-resistant paper with hot spots for various fish marked.I thought they were published by LI Fisherman magazine and contacted them about it. They didn't publish them but gave me the name of a person and website to find such charts. I believe his name may have been Shuller. Does anyone know who this is or at which site I could buy the charts? I wrote down the name somewhere and lost it. Help! Hy

searching for "Carmack Bay Charts for Sportfishing for Great South Bay." produced some chart info.

They were Carmark charts, and I don't believe that they are still produced although some tackle stores still may have have a few around. I know that Montauk Marine has some I'll check this weekend if they have any of the Carmark inshore charts left in stock. As a alternative there are Captain Segull fishing charts available for inshore Long Island. If you google "captain segull" spelled that way you'll get to their site.
