I need a reality check here. Is it possible to run my dual voltage refrigerator on the 12 VDC side when I am running my twin diesel engines without drawing amperage reserve from my battery bank ?
The previous owner ran the genny while underway, but I am not sure that I need to this.

I should be able to verify the current demands with an amp clamp to make sure, but I was curious as to what others do.

With no AC power your dual voltsge fridge should fall back to DC power so as long as the engines are running the alternators will supply more than enough power to feed the DC loads incl the fridge and charger the batteries.

ASS-uming the alternator works and are hooked up to charge your house bank, easy to check by reading voltsge for your house bank. If with engines running above idle (1000 rpm) your house bank voltage is over 13v than you re all good
