displaces 8500 lbs or so. has a new peninsular 310 turbo diesel. at about 2900 rpm, fuel consumption is around 10 gph(flowscan gage) and speed is 15 kts(gps) or so.
any body here with a similar rig doing much better or worse?

the keel does a nice job of protecting the prop and rudder, but i thing the drag is significant.
