I have a Sea Ray 330DA and believe I need to replace the fuel tank sensor. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Symptoms are a dash gauge that bounces when fuel is less than 3/4 full. I tried swaping the guages, and the problem persisted. I suspect wiring is OK as I cleaned all of the connectors on the fuel tank, and ensured the ground was clean.

Thanks for any advice.

I have the exact same situation with my starboard gauge on my 370DA. Luckily there is easy access to it...... just have'nt tried changing it yet. I was wondering if its a dealer only or standard replacement part too.

Eric..... your probably right.
I wonder if they can cross reference the original part number ?????

Many OEM suppliers can - some can't. I have had mixed responses. If you can find the right contact you can always ask. On some parts the OEM supplier is easy to find, on others it is not evident at all.

I would probably start with a quote from a local dealer and then decide if it's worth the effort to track down the OEM supplier and part. Many time it's not, other times it really pays off.
