This is my first post here. I am new to outboards. New to boating in general in fact. So please be gentle ;-)
Recently I purchased a 1980 Glastron 16' Bow Rider with a 115HP (1979) Evinrude on it. Seems a lot of power for this boat I know but it's within the range.
Obviously a boat that old didn't come with any manuals. I do plan to buy the engine owners and service manuals but in the mean time I wanted to make sure what the proper oil fuel mix would be for such an engine. I believe it is 50:1 is that correct?
