In reading some threads about people changing over from gas to diesel, it got me thinking.
It seems to me that you can get equivilant performance with much less HP out of the diesel. Is there some formula that would tell someone what HP they would need?
For instance, if you have 454 HP gas engines, how much Diesel HP would you need to get the same performance?
And, NO, I'm not thinking of doing this to my boat, just curious.
