I've had my 89 Carver for a few months now and we are settling in nicely. When we had it surveyed, there was isolated blistering noted. It was also noted that it was time for new bottom paint.
We will haul it in the next few months to apply a new coat of bottom paint. I'm looking for some suggestions on what to do with the blisters. Should I have them repaired, or leave them for now and check them the next time the boat is hauled?
Based on a prior survey I was able to get, it appears that isolated blistering was noted in 2008 as well and the situation doesn't appear to have changed since then. It looks like we could potentially repair about 6 to 10 blisters on the entire hull (38' Santego).
Any recommendations or notes past experiences would be helpful.
Thanks everyone!
