Need some help or ideas.
I have a Kohler 6.5CZ Generator with a Honda engine.
During Hurricane Wilma I have been using it for 3 hours a day. The last time I turned off i could not started again.
Mechanic change the ignition coils that were very rusted and the spark plugs. We started but we had to hold the throttle for a while until it keeps running. When runs it goes at low RPM and it does not supply any AC power.
It also runs for half hour and then it dies.
Mechanic wants to change the carburator but I am not sure if that is the problem.
I am also having difficulties in finding the serial number of the engine which I need to buy any parts. I checked everywhere.
