Anyone recommend someone who can install a GPS with a thru hull transducer in the Nassau County area.

First Id like to thank you for posting. We at LICC welcome u with open arms . ( some more then others ) As ofr ur post u can try CMI Electronics at 1-631-225-3672, Great guys .

Also please check the LICC folder for more info regarding Other vendors.

unless i'm mistaken (which happens more frequently the older i get), a transducer (either in hull, thru hull, or transom mounted) is for a depth gauage, while an antenna (either internal to the gps or externally mounted) is for a gps.
 
Bruce,

Many of the new GPS units are combo displays for both GPS and Depth finder capabilities, as such you would have both a transducer and an antenna
 
thanks. i didn't realize that. too bad someone can't come with a transtenna or an anducer. would simplify things a bit. ;-)
