It was great sailing weather today in Charlotte Harbor where is every body the weather doesn't get any better than this
 
There is an old saying that the workers live in St Pete, the retireees live in Port Charlotte and their parents live in Naples...

So I guess all the Tampa Bay boaters were at work wishing they could be out on the water...
 
Makes perfect sense to me,and a lot less traffic in Port Charlotte because we retiree's are not driving to work but instead to Mickey D's for a senior coffee.
 
We re wondering the same thing every time we go out! We took out the catboat last night, from 6:30 to 10:30 just sailing around for fun. Beautiful weather, incredible views of the city, 10kts, perfect! Except for 5 or 6 boats on a wed. night regatta that came back in at sunset nobody was out enjoying the night!
