Anyone know if the green buoy just in front of the entrance to Captree was moved intentionally or dragged? It's in an odd spot now, I just went the old way and so did everyone else I saw and there was plenty of water.

That buoy was moved way to the East from were it was last year. I followed my old GPS tracks in the spring and ran into 2' of water where the buoy had been. I guess there had been some shoaling over the winter.

John, I did go through there this Saturday, but I follow the buoys visually in that area not using a track/route. I noticed the water seemed lower than normal at the green buoy and it seemed off. So if you followed your regular route and had good water depth for that time, it would seem that the buoy may have been dragged not moved. I normally don’t take that route often, but tried to get into Kismet and was shut out, so we decided to take the slow route back and head to CGC for the day. Man did I have some pocorn and beer views of people trying to raft up. But thats another thread.....

The buoy was well to the east of where it's been up until last weekend. I'm hoping it's off station because to follow the channel as it's marked is a pretty sharp turn. As it is going through there yesterday afternoon with some boats following the other buoys and some not was an adventure... I even had a guy following behind me come up to ask which side of the buoys he was supposed to be on, I think he was from out of the area and confused.
