Gunge

My props, shafts and rudders have a hard gunge on them. Do I need to scrape this off with sand paper or is there a solution I can buy to get it off more easily? I tried sanding last week and it is very awkward and difficult.

You might want to ask this on Ask the Captain. It's not a Carver issue and more people will read it there.

You can use either an acid boat bottom cleaner or head to your "Dollar Store" and buy a product called "The Works". It is used to clean toilets but works great on the scale left on the underwater gear
