Does anyone have a pic they would be kind enough to post showing the view of the end of a H/E with the cap off? I'd really like to see or even read a good description the interior configuration & sizes of the tubes.
Also , I believe there is an end cap gasket. Should that be replaced if the cap is removed for inspection or is it long-term reusable? (Mine are for '04-'05 Crusader 5.7 cooling systems on '03 engines- brand new,no problems).
Should the H/E be opened & inspected every year If no cooling problems are occurring? That seems like it would be a good pre-emptive maintenance task but obviously I've not done that.
I do replace pencil zincs twice a season.
